We care about you, not what you’re wearing. We believe corporate worship exists for believers to worship God, exalt Christ and encourage one another. We’re a church full of imperfect people who are coming to know Jesus and serving others together, and regardless of your story, we invite you to join us.
What To Expect
Usually an hour and 15 minutes.
We have a casual atmosphere. Some people like to dress up, others come in jeans and a comfortable shirt.
We begin at 10:10am. Come early and grab coffee and get to know a few people or quietly sneak in at 10:15.
We believe man does not have the answers we are looking for but the bible does. We are firm believers in expository sermons and generally are working through a book of the bible learning how God wants us to live. Even our topical sermons are expositional. Sermons are usually 35-40 minutes.
We have a mix of modern worship songs as well the hymns of the church throughout its history. We also love music and believe scriptures like Psalm 150 teach us that we should use the skill and talent God has provided for Providence Church. This currently consists of a full band.
We have a nursery for infants – 2 year olds and a Kingdom Kids for 3-6 and 7-9 year olds during and 10:10 Worship Service. We encourage families to worship together so it is common to see multi-generation families together in our service. Our older kids join us in the worship center for the music and then are dismissed for an age appropriate lesson.
